Vocabulary

1)Alliance-An arrangement by which countries agree to work together because of a shared need.

2)Ally-A nation who has agreed to help another nation.

3)Cabinet-A committee of advisors or ministers serving a president or other head of state.

4)Curriculum-An outline of what subjects will be taught at school.

5)Embargo-A government order forbidding ships from entering or leaving it's ports.

6)Epilepsy-a disorder of the nervous system; a person epilepsy might pass out pr have convulsions.

7)Militia-An army of citizens who are not regular soldiers.

8)Pen Name-A made-up name used by writers instead of their real name.

9)Ratify-To approve officially.

10)Theology-The study of God and of how God relates to the world.
